Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- 5+ years of experience in Oil and Gas or industrial electrical plant design.
- General understanding of electrical systems including power generation, utility inter-ties, and distribution substations.
- Basic understanding of preventative/predictive maintenance concepts for electrical equipment.
- Experience with medium and low voltage distribution systems design and analytical calculations.
- Specify, evaluate, and select electrical engineering and specialty equipment for operations and major/complex projects.
- Evaluate, prepare, and analyze designs of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with standards, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Investigate and resolve electrical engineering issues, supporting company vision and mission.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to deliver business objectives.
Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
