Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Structural Engineer position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required and SE license preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in structural engineering, focusing on residential projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, RISA 3D) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Conduct comprehensive structural analysis and design using various materials such as wood, steel, and concrete.
- Perform detailed site inspections to assess structural integrity and ensure compliance with building codes and standards.
- Prepare and review engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative design solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
Salary: $105,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
